Make Blood Donation Your Random Act of
Kindness Celebrate World Kindness Week by donating blood
through the American Red Cross Random
acts of kindness are small things that you can do to make a difference in the
lives of friends, family and strangers. Help the American Red Cross Grundy
County Chapter celebrate World Kindness Week during the second week in
November by making an appointment to donate blood. “Donating
blood is one of the most important things that you can do for a stranger,”
said Ken Buck, Executive Director of the Grundy County Chapter. “It’s a pint
of blood for you, but for another it could be a life saved.” As
Americans become increasingly mobile, you can feel good knowing that when you
donate blood through the Red Cross you may be helping patients not only in
your local community, but also your friends and family across the nation.
Make an appointment today and change a life, starting with your own. Upcoming
